LORRIES will be allowed to deliver goods to Ottery's new Sainsbury's store up until 10pm.

On granting the supermarket giant planning permission for a Hind Street store, East Devon District Council (EDDC) has told the retailer the unloading of goods is restricted between 7am to 10pm from Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Sunday.

The council has made the move to ensure potential noise does not "unreasonably affect" nearby residents.
