An Ottery coffee shop has branched out onto the high seas after unveiling its new pirate ship play area.
Tickety-Boo has extended its play kingdom zone, which currently features a treehouse and castle for children up to the age of 11.
Owner Stuart Phillips said: “As a dad of three, I thought the town would really benefit from a place where parents could take their children – and my own children agreed. Rosie, Molly and Connor have all had a say in the design.”
Stuart hopes to work more closely with the community and The King’s School in the new year by displaying and selling students’ artwork and offering a homework club.
He added: “I have been overwhelmed by the huge amount of positive feedback I’ve had from so many townspeople who are pleased to see something that benefits parents and children as well as the community as a whole.”
