Members of Ottery St Mary’s Twinning Association said a warm ‘willkommen’ to visitors from its twin town in Germany.

The group from Ilsfeld arrived for a five day visit which took in tours of Cranbrook and Plymouth.

At a formal welcome dinner Sidmouth Ukele Strummers performed before Mayor Thomas Knoedler invited members of the twinning association to visit Germany next year.

Mark Rix, chairman of the group, said: “Our guests retuned home having spent a whirlwind weekend in beautiful Devon, the weather also played its part, making this a most memorable visit, with promises of visiting again.”
