AN Ottery group set up to help visually impaired people in the town will welcome a special guest to its meeting next week.
Author Shelley Saxon, who has written the book 'Voices from the Shadows', will be speaking at the Vision OM meeting on Tuesday (August 4) at 2.30pm in The Institute.
The book, which details members' experiences of being visually impaired and the affect it has had on their lives, was launched in June at the group's 10th anniversary celebrations earlier this year.
Kay Haywood, Vision OM member, said: "We think the meeting will not just be interesting for members but anybody who has read the book.
