A pair of ambulances and the air ambulance were on the scene this morning (Monday, January 15).
An Ottery woman has been taken to hospital this morning (Monday).
South Western Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to Chineway Gardens shortly before 8.50am, after reports the woman was complaining of chest pains and breathing difficulties.
An air ambulance was also called to the scene.
An ambulance spokesman said: “One female patient in her 70s complained of chest pains and breathing difficulties. We sent two ambulances and air ambulance was called. She was taken to the RD&E.”
