Work will be carried out in Pathwhorlands, Knowle Drive, Summerfield, Newlands Close, Boughmore Road, Manstone Mead and Primley Road under the council’s footway improvement programme.

The pavements will be prepared for a slurry seal treatment, which will take place across 2018/19.

Devon County Councillor Stuart Hughes, said: “I’m delighted to have been successful in securing funding for these footways to receive extensive work during the next financial year in preparation for slurry sealing in 2018/19.

He added the work had proven to be a very successful treatment used by the county council.
