A familiar face on TV will be giving a glimpse behind the scenes at the Antiques Roadshow in a fundraiser for Sidmouth’s branch of the RNLI next month.
Antiques expert Dr Paul Atterbury will talk about his experiences on the long-running BBC programme for the cause, which he is keen to support.
He is an extremely knowledgeable speaker in his field and is also the curator of Dorchester Museum.
Doors at All Saints Church, in All Saints Road, will open at 6.45pm on Friday, October 13, for a 7.15pm start.
The evening will begin with a musical introduction from the Sidmouth Ukulele Strummers.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask Paul questions after a light refreshment break and a glass of wine.
For enquiries, call the secretary on 01395 519350. Tickets (£15) are available from Paragon Books. All proceeds will go to the RNLI.
