People gathered at the Knappe in Sidmouth on Sunday to take part in the annual Apple Pressing Day.
A number of styles were employed to gather the apples from the trees, these included collecting the windfalls from the ground, shaking the branches or scaling the lower boughs to reach the fruit.
After being washed, the fruit were crushed then squashed and the delious juice collected in containers for everyone to enjoy.
