Archant

A group of Sidmouth crafters are hoping to help give every competitor in this year’s Olympics a little bit of Great Britain to take away with them.

Part of the London 2012 ‘Cultural Olympiad’, a community project called ‘Quilts4London’ is hoping to make 14,000 pennants for all the athletes taking part in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

To help with this aim the ladies of Sidmouth Trefoil Guild have been busy making more than 20 so far, all decorated with images relating to the town and the seaside.
