Sidmouth’s annual pancake races returned to the seafront yesterday (Tuesday, February 16).

The Sid Valley Rotary Club-organised fun was held on The Esplanade, opposite the Elizabeth Hotel.

There were free-to-enter races for juniors and an adult race, where competitors battled it out for the prestigious ‘Silver Pan’.
