Pirate fete nets £1k for West Hill Royal British Legion

FUNSEEKERS weren t left shivering their timbers on Saturday as a pirate themed West Hill Royal British Legion club fete defied a week of miserable weather.

FUNSEEKERS weren't left shivering their timbers on Saturday as A pirate themed West Hill Royal British Legion club fete defied a week of miserable weather.

The sun shone for the event, which raised more than £1,000 for the club.

A range of local businesses and organisations sponsored the fete, with the Ottery Junior Town Band on hand to provide the music.
