THE pitter patter of tiny hoof-steps can now be heard at The Donkey Sanctuary.
The Sidmouth based charity is delighted to announce the arrival of a new foal, Janet Thorne, who born on May 6.
Her mother, Karray, had to complete an isolation period so Janet has been out of the public eye until now.
A sanctuary spokesperson said: "It really is a delight to have a new foal in our care - not just for staff but for the visitors too! We have a no-breeding policy so it is a rare occasion for us.
Janet and Karray are now living with another young foal born in October last year, and her mother.
The foals are really enjoying playing together."
