Plastic warriors will be cleaning up Sidmouth beach tomorrow (Saturday).
The event is apart of the Sidmouth Plastic Warriors’ campaign which is calling for the town to become plastic-free.
A number of events have been organised to take place across the town. At their latest cleanup, in Woolbrook, volunteers collected 30 bags of rubbish in an hours.
A group of plastic warriors will be meeting at 2pm at the Sidmouth Prayer Room, Holmdale, which will be providing refreshments afterwards.
Volunteers will spend two hours concentrating on cleaning up the beach, Ham and town centre.
