THE Branscombe Project would like residents’ help in preparing an exhibition about life in the village during the Second World War.
Scheduled for autumn 2011, the exhibition will cover all aspects of daily life, from rationing and food to evacuees and entertainment.
Those compiling the exhibition would love to hear from anyone who has a story to tell, or memorabilia or photos to lend. And they are also looking for contact details of anyone who lived in the village at the time but has moved away since. No nugget of information is too small.
Contact Amanda on (01297) 680676 or amanda.statham@btinternet.com, Sue on (01404) 813500 or suedymond@yahoo.co.uk or Barbara on (01297) 680448 or b.bender@zen.co.uk. For more information visit www.branscombeproject.org.uk.
