POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a trailer was stolen from Newton Poppleford this week. The ten foot galvanized, steel trailer with the words Brian James written on the side, was wheel clamped when it was taken from the car park of the Cannon Hot

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a trailer was stolen from Newton Poppleford this week.

The ten foot galvanized, steel trailer with the words Brian James written on the side, was wheel clamped when it was taken from the car park of the Cannon Hotel on the High Street between 10pm on Sunday, March 29 and 7.30am on Monday.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to ring Sidmouth Police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference number KS/09/169.
