Officers are searching for a burglar after an attempt was made to force the rear patio door of a Sidmouth home in broad daylight.
The Balfour Gardens property was targeted between 8am and 5pm on Wednesday
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Balfour area is asked to call police on 101 and quote log number 636 of January 14.
