MORE than £900 worth of jewellery was stolen from a house in Sidford last week.
The burglary took place at Harcombe Lane between 10pm on Thursday, December 4 and 1am on Friday, October 5. Entry was gained through an unlocked back door. Rings, bracelets, cufflinks and necklaces were stolen from the property. Anyone with information is being urged to contact the police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference number KS/08/828. A police spokesman said: "We are warning people to check their doors are locked on an evening.
