POLICE are investigating a burglary in Sidmouth over the Christmas period.
Between 9am on Tuesday, December 23 and 11am on Monday, December 29 a house in Haydens Lane was broken into and a Philips TV and DVD combi worth £200 was stolen.
Entry was gained by breaking a ground floor window.
The police say the burglary is an isolated incident and are not connecting it with any other crimes in the East Devon area.
A police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anybody who witnessed the break-in or anyone who has been offered one of these combis as a gift or for sale." Anyone with information should contact Sidmouth Police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference number KS/08/865.
