Further reports of thefts from parked cars have prompted police to reiterate a warning to remove valuables from vehicles.
A silver Ford Fiesta parked behind McColls in West Hill was broken into at around 4.40pm, on Saturday, August 28.
Police said the owner was shopping when the passenger window was smashed and a handbag and food shopping taken.
At around 4.50pm, on the same day, the window of a grey Vauxhall Astra parked in Bendarroch Road was smashed and a wallet stolen.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time to get in touch.
