Police are appealing for help in tracing a 45 year-old man who went missing from a friend’s house in Ottery St Mary on Tuesday.

Colin Matthews, who lived until recently in Illminster in Somerset, and has connections in Chard, is described as being ‘slightly unkempt’ 6ft 2in tall, with short brown hair and a tattoo of an eagle on his forearm.

Police believe he could be in East Devon still, but Mr Matthews has also been in Weymouth in Dorset recently.

He usually wears a baseball cap, jeans, a long brown waterproof jacket, black boots, and a denim jacket with a number of badges on it with an earring in his left ear.
