Repair works are underway to repair a barrier near Daisymount Cross today (Wednesday) after a car collided with the central reservation.

Work is ongoing to repair a barrier on the A30 near Ottery St Mary after a car collided with the central reservation this morning (Wednesday).

A police spokeswoman said officers were called shortly after 9.50am to Daisymount Cross and closed a lane on the westbound carriage to recover a Ford Fiesta.

The spokeswoman said: “The female driver was a bit shaken, but appeared to have no injuries. An ambulance was called and members of the public helped her out of the car.

“A lane was blocked westbound and there was confirmation of no injuries. Recovery was arranged at about 10.30am.”
