Police have confirmed that a second man has died following a collision between two vehicles on the A3052 outside Branscombe last Friday.
A 77-year-old from West Yorkshire was declared deceased at the scene after his Honda Jazz was involved in a collision with a Renault Clio near the old Three Horseshoes Inn at around 6.15pm. The driver of the Clio, a 54-year-old man from Colyton, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries but died in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police collision investigators carried out a forensic investigation and the A3052 was closed for three-and-a-half hours.
