POLICE arrested two men with the help of a police dog after a break-in at the Woods Farm recycling centre.
Reports of suspicious activity at the Bowd centre were received at about 1.40am on Sunday morning. Police dog, Razor, found two men hiding by a large container and a rucksack containing various items was found during a search of the premises. Both men were arrested for being found on enclosed premises.
A 23-year-old Sidmouth man, who was already wanted on an outstanding warrant, was charged with possession of amphetamine, a class B drug and theft, and a 34 year old, from Newton Poppleford, was charged with theft and fraud.
Both men were bailed to appear in Central Devon Magistrates in Exeter on Tuesday, June 3.
