E-PETITION: People in Devon are being encouraged to support a campaign to make bus travel more accessible for people with a disability by signing an e-petition.

The Epilepsy Society, backed by disability organisations, is campaigning for the government to make changes to the disabled person’s bus pass – to include travel during peak hours and a free companion pass where needed.

The society said the pass was a ‘vital’ concession for people with epilepsy who have been refused a driving licence because of their condition.
