Fears tamperer could be unhinged
POLICE have appealed for information after unknown culprits tampered with a metal gate in Newton Poppleford. The large gate, which leads onto a private field in the Burrow Close area, was lifted from its hinges in what officers have described as “suspicious circumstances”.
The incident took place last Friday evening, September 23. Anyone with information can contact police by dialling 101 and quoting log number: 694 24/09/11.
