A man’s stash of cannabis was seized after police received a tip-off he was growing the drug in his Sidmouth home.
Four plants discovered in a covered area in the bedroom of the Arcot Park house were being cultivated with lights and specialised ventilation system.
Officers were satisfied that the illegal substance was for personal use rather than distribution and the man was cautioned for production of cannabis.
Sergeant Andy Squires said it was a typical set-up and ‘fairly low key’.
