NEWTON Poppleford residents with housing issues, concerns about their neighbourhood or queries about benefits should welcome a council-run drop in session in the village.East Devon District Council's Tenant Participation team has organised a series of informal drop in sessions. The next one of these will be held from 3pm to 5pm on Monday, December 1, in St Luke's Church Hall, Newton Poppleford.Tenants, prospective tenants and leaseholders are welcome to call in for a coffee and a chat with members of staff from the Housing and Benefits Services. You will be able to ask questions; find out what is going on in the area, for example improvement schemes that are happening or planned; report a need for repairs; ask about housing transfers or a mutual exchange; discuss rent queries; receive benefit advice or ask about any housing or neighbourhood related matter.
