Programmes are now on sale for this year’s Sidmouth Regatta, which returns on August 27 and 28.
The weekend will be kicked off by the Red Arrows on Friday, August 26, after the town council revived their annual appearance in 2015.
The regatta itself will boast a three-legged pub crawl, swimming and sailing races, a shop window competition and children’s events, plus a spectacular firework display. Teams are also invited to join a raft race on makeshift contraptions – and hope they float.
Programmes are £1.50 from The Ham information centre and Humbug, Fore Street, and include entry forms for the shop window competition.
