Two teams of professionals went head-to-head to raise £500 and bowl over a good cause at Sidmouth Cricket Club.
Directors and staff of wealth managers Brewin Dolphin donned their whites and challenged Kitsons Solicitors to the match in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), both firms’ charity of the year.
Brewin Dolphin claimed victory in last month’s Twenty20 challenge, which was organised by assistant director Sean Priestley, a long-term player and member of the club.
Tim Walker, the firm’s divisional director, said: “I would like to thank Sean, Sidmouth Cricket Club and also Kitsons for joining us in this friendly match. Although on the night Brewin Dolphin was the winning team, the real and deserving winners are CHSW.”
