MORE than �60 was raised for Branscombe preschool at a pub quiz hosted by The Mason's Arms last week.
The fun evening was well supported by parents, villagers and visitors. Some of the money has already been used to buy gardening gloves, tools and equipment.
Cathrine Willerton, Preschool leader, said: "The children have sown their seeds in preparation to transplant later into the school allotment in the village. Produce includes lettuces, potatoes, purple carrots and black spotted ladybird poppies.
