OTTERTON Primary School pupils provided the perfect start to Christmas for residents of the village’s Old Vicarage.
More than 30 children visited the retirement home last week, to sing carols and songs.
The home has good links with the school, many of the staff have relations who are pupils, and the carols visit has been an annual event for 20 years.
Matron Sue Tisdale said residents had enjoyed the occasion.
“The children sang some new carols and old carols, and bits from their Christmas concert,” she said. “Many of them played instruments, including the piano accordion, clarinet and trumpet, and we were all very impressed at how well they performed.”
