MORE lots have been pledged for Sidmouth Twinning Circle's bumper auction to help fund its 25th anniversary celebrations marking the town's twinning with Le Locle.

Some 80 lots are on the books, including a coveted match football used in the game where the Grecians gained promotion to League One.

Exeter City fans John and Di Lee were able to secure the ball - one of two used during the match.

Several record collections of 78s and LPs have been donated, together with a signed copy of Clare Francis' account of her single-handed journey across the Atlantic - Come Hell or High Water.

Trumps has donated two collectable cars from Mark Feeney's collection, while Thorn Park has given two rounds of golf, which could, perhaps, go with a set of clubs and bag donated.

"There is also a very nice set of three travel bags and a quality kitchen table and four chairs," said Len Bull, who is helping co-ordinate Your Bid evening auction at All Saints Church Hall at 7pm on Friday, June 12.

Pecorama has given family tickets for the auction, while the Victoria Hotel has given a meal for two in its Jubilee Restaurant.

Landrover Exeter has offered a driving experience at Cullompton, while its Plymouth branch has given a watch, worth 100, and teddy bear.

"We certainly have got some quality lots," said Mr Bull, who can be contacted on 07939270096 with offers of lot donations.
