THE sister of a former RAF man has donated a high band radio to Sidmouth's ATC squadron.
Last Tuesday, Sonia Johns attended the 2019 (Sidmouth) Squadron ATC meeting at the Air Cadet headquarters in Manstone Avenue, to hand over a cheque for 180 in memory of her twin brother Squadron Leader Tony Richardson, who served in the RAF for more than 25 years in its medical branch.
She wanted the ATC to benefit from the gift in his memory and presented the money for a radio to the squadron's commanding officer Flight Lieutenant John Lowe.
