DELIGHTED Poppy Appeal leaders have issued a heartfelt ‘well done Sidmouth’ after street collections bagged �15,437.
DELIGHTED Poppy Appeal leaders have issued a heartfelt ‘well done Sidmouth’ after street collections bagged �15,437.
The bumper Royal British Legion total is �3,000 more than the previous year’s haul.
Sue Pink, Sidmouth Poppy Appeal co-ordinator, hailed the amount as “magnificent.”
She said: “Again, I would like to thank all those kind Sidmothians who gave their time to act as collectors, counters, or those who helped in other ways.
