Mannequins net an impressive £21,628 for life-saving cause
Sidmouth Lifeboat would like to thank residents and visitors for their generous donations to our loyal collectors on The Esplanade - ‘Sid and Alma’ - throughout 2016, in all weathers.
Their gentle and passive presence collected an impressive total of £21,628.69 - a major contribution to our running costs!
On behalf of the crew, support team and trustees, I would like to thank everyone who dropped their coins (and notes!) into Sid and Alma’s buckets. We hope the message reaches those who visit Sidmouth only occasionally, and look forward to welcoming everybody to the boathouse during 2017.
