THE former frontman of a band who enjoyed indie-chart success in the 1990's has launched a record label in Tipton St John.
Simon Bish, who also played bass for Thrilled Skinny, a favourite of late DJ John Peel, has set up Pop Noise Records to boost local acts looking for their big break in the music industry.
Simon said: "I know from experience that it can be difficult for bands starting out to attract record label interest."
The label currently boasts seven acts based in and around the Exeter area.
