WITH just two weeks to go before the deadline for responses to the Boundary Committee on its proposals for one unitary council in Devon, there has been a resounding no from residents of East Devon.As of Wednesday midday, EDDC had received 13,650 responses from households across the district. Of these, 13,500 support EDDC's view that the single unitary Devon is not wanted.A council spokesman said: "With just 150 households in favour of the change, this means that 99% of the silent majority in East Devon are against the proposal.
