Return for popular Ottery jumble sale

ORGANISERS of the famous 1st Ottry St Mary Scout Group jumble sale are reminding everyone to have a dig around their attics and cupboards to see what they can give away.

ORGANISERS of the famous 1st Ottry St Mary Scout Group jumble sale are reminding everyone to have a dig around their attics and cupboards to see what they can give away.

The team behind the sale, the groups major yearly fundraiser, have organised for a van to take donations outside Potter's Country Market next Saturday, January 24 at 9.30am before going door to door in Ottery on the 26th and 27th.

Once again this year's sale will be held on two days, Saturday January 31 and Saturday February 7, across three venues, The Institute, Coleridge Play Group and the Old Boys' School.

A book fair will be held in the Coleridge Play Group at 11am on the 31st before

jumble sale festivities begin at 2pm. An auction of certain items will also take place at 2.45pm.

Organisers cannot accept items like mattresses or large pieces of furniture and anything that will cost money to dispose of.
