THOSE attending tonight's performance of Celebration at Sidmouth's Manor Pavilion Theatre, will have a chance to meet the cast of '93.
Ray Pickworth, director of Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society's current version of the Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall comedy, first presented the play in Sidmouth in 1993 and had no trouble in getting 10 of the original cast together for a reunion and small reception after tonight's (Friday, June 19) performance.
Hilda Sharp, who played many lead roles in Sidmouth, as well as appearing in the Charles Vance season, has travelled from Wales for the get-together.
Celebration has two performances tomorrow (Saturday), at 2.30pm and 8pm, as well as tonight's, and tickets are available from the theatre box office (01395) 514413.
*See how many of the faces from the '93 cast of Celebration you can name and you could win a bottle of champagne if you get them all right.
Answers on a postcard please to Sidmouth Herald, Archant South West, Fair Oak Close, Exeter Airport Business Park, Clyst Honiton, Exeter, EX5 2UL, by Friday, June 26, and you could end up having your own celebration.
