A reward of £100 has been offered for the return of a laptop and portable hard drive that was stolen in Sidmouth town centre.

Mr Andrew Nunn is appealing to Herald readers who might be able to help with the return of his silver Apple Macbook.

The 47-year-old, of Station Road, who is a part-time DJ said it would take weeks to replace his music library, not to mention the cost of a new laptop.

Mr Nunn said: “I would be very grateful if someone could help me get it back – I can’t carry on DJing without it.”

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman said they were investigating a theft which took place on Saturday (April 14) at around 11.15pm on Radway Place.

She said a man had his bag stolen which contained a laptop and investigation and enquiries were ongoing.
