FOOD connoisseurs will have the chance to take part in cooking lessons from local food celebrities at Riverford Farm Shop's Celebration of food next weekend.

Budding chefs will have the chance to make their own sausage and burgers and will be given tips by the best of the south west including master baker, Aidan Chapham, from Lyme Regis Town Mill Bakery and Mark Hix and Lesley Waters.

Festivities include a special appearance by Willie Harcourt-Cooze, of Channel 4's 'Willie's Wonky Chocolate Factory' fame, from 10.30am.

The celebration takes place on Saturday, September 20 from 10am-4pm at the farm shop at Sidmouth Garden Centre. For more information, contact Riverford at Sidmouth on (01395) 515486.
