The Tour of Britain returns to Sidmouth next Friday with the world’s best riders descending on the town for stage six of the competition.
The 93 mile route will test the cyclists as they travel from Sidmouth, through Ottery St Mary and Honiton to Haytor.
Olympians Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Owain Doull will be hoping to take home the yellow jersey when the competition ends on Sunday, September 11.
Devon County Council has put a number of closures and parking restrictions in Sidmouth, Tipton St John, Ottery St Mary and Honiton.
Rolling restrictions will be in effect for a limited period to allow the race and race vehicles to travel through safely.
Roads in the town centre will also be closed for the Criterium races taking place in the afternoon.
All car parks will be available on Friday except the Ham East and West site. Car parks will be inaccessible on Thursday evening due to the Criterium races.
