DECADES of freedom to roam on Woodbury Common are not under threat, say landowners, despite new signs detailing public restrictions.
Dog walkers and horse riders began to worry last month when large notices called for dogs to be restrained on leads in summer, and all other animals barred from the Common.

The signs simply reinforce existing laws and educate the public on how to help preserve the area.
