SKITTLE players from the Rotary Club of Otter Valley have celebrated winning the East Devon Rotary Skittles League.
SKITTLE players from the Rotary Club of Otter Valley have celebrated winning the East Devon Rotary Skittles League.
The club, which won in the Rotary District 1170 Skittles Knockout Cup last year, triumphed in a tense, must-win final game thriller against Exe Valley to land the league title.
The winning team consisted of Rotarians Eric Flowers (Captain), Ken Manning, Mick Hopkins, Peter Bennett, Chris Highnam, David Roberts, Jim Mullen and Nick Agg-Manning. In the course of the season,
Seventeen members of the club took part in the team's title-winning charge. Chris Highnam won the cup for the club's highest average score of 51.
