Rotary club welcomes people to tea and talk amd other news

The Sid Valley Rotary Club wants to hear from older residents about their lives, and is inviting them to join a ‘tea and talk’ afternoon. Read this and more.
FOOD FEST: The Salty Monk will be taking their award-winning cream tea to the Exeter Food and Drink Festival next week.
The restaurant won the coastal category in a Heart of Devon competition
It will appear alongside other South West food and drink producers, a range of ales and ciders and live music, in the Northernhay Gardens and Exeter Castle.
Tickets are on sale for the 10th anniversary of the festival, which runs from next Friday (April 26) until Sunday, from 10am until 6pm. Visit www.exeterfoodanddrinkfestival.co.uk for more information.

Entry to the session on Wednesday, April 24, from 2pm until 4pm in All Saints Church Hall is £1.50.

POSTAL CONSULTATION: A public consultation is under way until May 7 on plans to move the Woolbrook Post Office to Woolbrook News.
Proposed changes include extending opening hours, and the organisation wants comments on suitability and accessibility of the location.
The business is set to move in June, but service will not be disrupted.
