Santa set for Newton Poppleford visit

SANTA will be doing his rounds in Newton Poppleford tonight after Sidmouth Lions bagged his services to spread some festive cheer in the village.

SANTA will be doing his rounds in Newton Poppleford tonight after Sidmouth Lions bagged his services to spread some festive cheer in the village.

Parents are warned that Father Christmas, with sleigh in tow, will parade Newton Poppleford East from Otter Reach to the Cannon Inn from 6pm before turning up main road into School Lane, Glebelands, Turner Close, Lower Farthings, Brook Meadow, Meadow Drive estate.

Tomorrow, (December 13) Santa will be in his grotto in Sidmouth Garden Centre from 11am to 4pm with gifts for children under ten years of age.

He will then pay a visit to Newton Poppleford West from the Cannon Inn to the Southern Cross Tea Rooms starting at 5pm in King Alfred Way, before heading to Exmouth Road, Badger Close, Littledown Lane, Littledown Orchard, Exmouth Road, Exeter Road, Woodley's Yard, Burrow Lane, Burrow Close, Hillside, Burrow Lane, and ending up behind the Southern Cross Tea Rooms.
