A VERY special visitor will be appearing at Sidmouth Garden Centre between now and Christmas.
Santa has made space in his hectic Yuletide schedule so he can visit his grotto, which has been decorated by Sidmouth Lions Club.
“It’s a bit of fun, we’ve been doing it for four years now and it’s been a real success,” said the centre’s assistant manager Joseph Cousins. “We put the building up, and the Lions sprinkle it with their magic Christmas fairy dust.”
There are different presents for different age groups. The grotto is open this Saturday and Sunday and December 18 and 19 from 11am to 4pm, then Monday 20, Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22, 1.30pm to 4pm.
