Queen and princesses wanted to lead spectacular
THE search is on for this year’s Sidmouth Carnival royalty
Organisers of the September spectacular have begun their bid to find a queen and princesses to lead the traditional procession.
Girls aged 12 or above by September have a chance of being selected as queen but must be from the Sidmouth area.
All the girls that do enter are expected to sell raffle tickets for the carnival committee’s grand draw. The youngster who sells the most will be crowned queen.
Princesses must be six-years-old or above and should also live in the Sidmouth area. Those who enter will be selected by the committee.
