Seaton and Beer RNLI thank Lifeboat Week visitors

SEATON Beer and District Branch of the RNLI would like to thank all the residents and visitors for their support during Beer Lifeboat Week.

SEATON Beer and District Branch of the RNLI would like to thank all the residents and visitors for their support during Beer Lifeboat Week.

Nearly £345 was raised during Beer Street Collection and the proceeds from the 4th Annual Duck Races down Beer Brook raised £430.

Two coffee mornings raised a further £220 and the quiz night hosted by Beer Social Club raised £125.

The group would like to thank the following businesses for sponsoring or donating prizes for the Duck Races: Anchor Inn, Bank House, Bay View guest house, Bay View Tea Rooms, Barrel 'O'Beer, Beer Divers, Beer Fish and Chip Shop, Beer News, Beer Pharmacy, Beer Post Office, Beer Quarry Caves, Beer Village Store, Belmont House, Breakaway Holidays, Bumbles Locker, Colebrooke House, Chapple's Tea Hut, Captain's Cottage Tea Room, Dolphin Hotel, Ducky's Beach Café, Durham House Hotel. Focal Research, Jimmy Green Marine, JMM Fisheries, Kenno's Beach Café, Marine House at Beer and Steam Gallery, Osbornes, Pecorama, Paul's Bakery, Paul Vine Electrics, Penny's Estate Agents, Rock Villa Off Licence, Steamers Restaurant, The Village Hair Shoppe, Woozies' Deli.

The Open Gardens Charity Day raised £210 and a further £215 from the tombola. A £500 donation was also given by Pecorama.
