Service offers time to reflect

PUBLISHED: 14:28 10 November 2010

OTTERY St Mary Parish Church is holding a Tree of Light service for the first time next month.

The church has treamed up with Hospiscare for the event, on Monday, December 6 at 7pm.

Christmas is a time for friends and families to get together and celebrate, but in the hustle and bustle of the festive period, it is easy to forget some of the important things.

The Tree of Light service gives people the time and opportunity to reflect, remember and celebrate the people who have brought light into their lives over the years.

It is for those who have lost loved ones in the past as well as recently and is not just for those people with loved ones who have been cared for by Hospiscare.
